What is smsactivator.io?
A privacy-focused marketplace for virtual phone numbers. We sell single-use SMS activations, long-term rentals, and dedicated virtual numbers for receiving SMS or calls. The platform aggregates supply from multiple upstream providers for redundancy and best-price routing.
Do I need to verify my identity (KYC)?
No. Account creation requires only an email address. We do not collect or store ID documents, government IDs, or any other identity verification data.
What payment methods are accepted?
Cryptocurrency only — BTC, USDT (TRC20, ERC20, BEP20), ETH, TON, BNB, MATIC, LTC, DOGE, TRX, USDC — through OxaPay. A separate card-to-crypto rail is available for fiat top-ups. Credit card billing and PayPal are not supported.
How fast does the SMS arrive?
Average delivery is under 60 seconds. The 20-minute SLA window is the upper bound — if no SMS arrives in that window the order is auto-cancelled and the wallet is fully refunded.
What happens if no SMS arrives?
Auto-refund. If the activation hasn't received an SMS by the 20-minute deadline, the order is cancelled and your wallet is credited back automatically. No support ticket required.
Which services are supported?
Over 200 directly mapped services — Google, Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Tinder, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Binance, Coinbase, Signal — plus the full upstream catalogues of 5sim, SMS-Activate and SMSPVA. The browse page at /sms lists them all.
Which countries are covered?
50+ countries with active inventory. Coverage rotates with upstream availability; the live list lives at /countries.
Can the same number receive multiple SMS?
Activations are single-use (one code, then the number is released). For multi-SMS use cases choose a long-term rental at /rental or a virtual number at /virtual-number.
Do you offer an API?
Yes — the API is documented at /api. It mirrors the dashboard: order numbers, poll for SMS, manage rentals, top up wallet. Authentication uses bearer tokens you can rotate from the dashboard.
Is there an affiliate program?
Yes — 5% lifetime commission on every deposit your referred users make, with no expiry. Sign up at /affiliate.
Where is your infrastructure hosted?
Self-hosted Postgres, Redis, Meilisearch, Fastify, and Next.js — no third-party SaaS for core services. Server logs are minimal and IPs are hashed before persistence.
What is the refund policy?
Wallet credit on auto-cancel (no SMS within SLA), on broken/disconnected number, on user-initiated cancel within the order window, and on any allocation failure. Wallet balance can be used for any future order. See /refund-policy for the full text.
